From Free Supplies to First Hires: May News You’ll Love

Exciting things are happening at Teacher Reuse as the school year draws to a close this month. Our last teacher shopping day was May 10th. We are cranking through our impact numbers for the year and will post the results.

We want to hire a part-time employee to run the store on Saturdays and assist Shelly with the behind-the-scenes operations on Tuesdays. We can't offer much, but it is our first paid employee! If you know of anyone looking to take charge and help us support teachers, have them check out our job posting on Indeed: https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=169d2caec286f664&from=shareddesktop_copy. We think it would be ideal to have a retired teacher, because they would understand the curriculum donations and the schedules.

We are partnering with the Mermaid Society of Texas! We will be in the parade on May 17, 2025 in downtown San Marcos, Texas and we will have a booth at the music and art festival afterwards in the Plaza Park. Bring your leftover classroom and school supplies for teachers. Also, you can get one of our exciting new t-shirts, for a donation. Hope to see you there.
